  • Slack Workspace Data: Workspace ID, channel information, and user identifiers necessary to operate the service.
  • Incident Data: Incident titles, timeline updates, resolution notes, and postmortem content created through our commands.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our service, including command usage and feature engagement.
  • Account Information: Email addresses and billing information for paid subscriptions.

  • Generate AI-powered postmortems from your incident data

  • Process payments and manage subscriptions

  • AI Service Providers: To generate postmortems, incident data may be processed by our AI partners. This data is not used to train AI models.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, regular security audits, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We retain your incident data for as long as your account is active. Free tier users have access to 7 days of incident history. Pro users have unlimited history. Upon account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

8. Slack Integration

Our app integrates with Slack and requires certain permissions to function. We only request the minimum permissions necessary to provide our service. We do not access private messages or channels where IncidentOps is not explicitly invited.
